Jeanine Klein draws us into a clouded atmosphere in works such as 
"Mountain / Valley",  and allows us to glimpse toward a solitary 
moment in works such as "Kingfisher".  Her watercolors and inks 
provide us with the opportunity to see both spontaneity and 
consciously arranged shapes as they skillfully play on handmade paper 
in these Asian influence pieces.  Jeanine has only recently been able 
to return to her study in Sumi-e painting.
